Wedding Vendors

We would like to give very special thanks to the following awesome people.
Without you guys, our wedding wouldn’t be possible!

  • Natalia Kala wedding planner

    Natalia Kala

It all begins with an idea but then I felt that I need someone truly passionate to help turn my dream into reality. Planning a wedding abroad is beyond stressful. A wedding planner is an absolute must and, really, the number one person you should start searching for when having a destination wedding. Natalia is a true gem we were lucky to find in the large city of Istanbul. Absolute talent and I cannot thank her enough.

  • Alexey Chizhkov video

    Alexey Chizhkov

I fell in love with one of the wedding videos Alexey made in Yalta. Unlike other videographers Alexey made me dive into the atmosphere of the wedding without me even being there. I know this requires talent and professionalism. I instantly messaged him without searching for anyone else.

  • Anna Timoshenko wedding photography

    Anna Timoshenko

There is something about natural colors and a poetic vintage sadness that attracted me to Anna’s photography the most. As much as I understand that a wedding is a happy and exciting moment I feel that looking at my own wedding photos later will make me reminisce and smile. I want my wedding photo album to resemble an elegant and poetic story of two from long ago.

  • Bushra flowers Istanbul

    Büşra Ceker

My flower decoration was somewhat simple to a degree. I wanted to achieve this effortless field style airy feel both during ceremony and the main reception. Busra from Mahlas Floral Studio exceeded my expectations and her entire team was a pleasure to work with.

  • Taner DJ Istanbul

    Taner Ozturk

Ararat and I are very international, we listen to all sorts of music and genres from all over the world. I like to keep the party going for all and wanted our guests regardless of their culture to have lots of fun and relate to our vibe. I felt that Taner grasped our vibes perfectly, we had lots of fun. Also, his team of technicians and light experts was absolutely on point and everything went without a glitch.

  • Aslihan Yener invitations custom printing istanbul

    Aslihan Yener

I found Aslihan by absolute luck, browsing for something else on IG i found her. Next thing you know I had lots of stationary mostly all of my stationery designed and printed with AY Paper Studio. Aslihan really can make your wildest wishes comes true: from invitations to coasters to a satin banner, she was able to do everything related to print and paper materials. Wow!

  • Victoria Tekin wedding make up artist Turkey

    Victoria Tekin

Victoria Tekin was my hair and make-up stylist. I was very lucky to find her in such a busy city like Istanbul! I loved the fact that she was all about timing, and understood my style without much explanation. We had a trial make-up session and the next thing you know three days later she was fully ready with an assistant at my wedding venue for me, my family and my bridesmaids. Be ready she will wake you up at 8am! XOXO

Our Wedding Video:
My Favorite Love Story ❤

The wedding video was produced by Alexey Chizhkov, here is a short 2-minute video of how well it all came together. Planning an international/destination wedding can be stressful but the result will be totally worth it. Just look at it!

IF YOU ARE PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING HERE IS MY ADVICE (use it or not):

1. Have a budget and stick to it. You CAN get it all even on a budget.

2. Start planning exactly a year in advance or more. International weddings require more communication and revisions.

3. Find a planner at the location.

4. Have a clear picture of what type of style you are after. Be the boss!

5. Have clear WhatsApp communications and file sharing with all of your vendors in Whatsapp as well. Download Whatsapp for desktop.

6. Move fast. Don’t be afraid to fire a vendor in case you need to but do it fast.

7. Use Instagram to find vendors (I found everything on Instagram).

8. Be realistic, you don’t need food food food, believe me, people want to have fun fun fun!

9. Location location location! A hotel is the best way to go, everyone will be in one place, it’s great! But also try to think outside the box, there are boutiques hotels, country hotels, and hotels with a view of the sea or winery. Big hotels, small hotels, or hotels that you can book for your party entirely (that’s what we did).

10. Think about the night before and the night after. Move into the venue a day earlier and move out a day after. And thank me later 🤣🤣🤣.

11. Make contracts with each vendor. Have your planner help you.

12. Like at every wedding have a dedicated person who handles cash (while vendors like make-up artists, hairstylists, photo and video start to depart you don't want to run to the room to count money and back), have a dedicated person who handles your phone (you don’t want to be holding the phone while having fun on the dance floor or giving a toast, do you?).

13. Go to sleep early the night before, and put some eye patches on.

14. Wake up early on the day of (I mean like 8am if your ceremony is at 5pm).
